How to help someone mourning the death of a pet
Have you ever seen a friend or neighbor shocked by the death of a pet? If you have never owned a pet, or consider having one, were you surprised to see anyone mourn? Actually, that answer is as normal as when a close friend or a loved one dies. The emotional relationship between PET and the person is just as intense as it is from person to person.
This is what you should know to help someone who is mourning the death of a pet, as there is a great sadness involved, which can persist for long periods of time.
1. As in the death of a friend or family member (and most animals are considered part of the family), the penalty is to be expected, due to investment grade the object of emotional loss. The emotional investment means the care and concern, is love in depth. Become sensitive to the role of animal played in family life, and be better equipped to provide appropriate support and memories that will be immensely useful in the coming months.
